More than one billion people around the world live with some form of a disability. Water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) investments must include people with disabilities to meet Global SDG commitments, particularly when access to safe, accessible WASH has become even more critical in the context of COVID.

This event will bring together organizations representing persons with disabilities and older people and WASH specialists. The discussion about barriers to services will identify practical ways to include persons with disabilities and older people in water, sanitation and hygiene policies and programs. The best way to build back better and more equitable WASH systems is through inclusive engagement to find solutions that suit everyone.

Please join this event to learn how WASH and disability actors can collaborate better!
